Bridge Centre For Arts and Technology
BridgeCAT is an organization that offers arts and technology training to high-school age kids. It’s called the Bridge Centre for Arts and Technology because our programs are for people on both sides of the Halifax-Dartmouth bridges. BridgeCAT’s studio space can be located at 50 Queen Street, Dartmouth.
Cultural Academic Enrichment Program
The Cultural Academic Enrichment Program CAEP, offered to African Canadian children, is a supplementary educational program initiated by African Canadian parents (Education Committees) with the sponsorship of the African Canadian Services Division (ACSD), Department of Education. The goals of this program are to deliver a multi-purpose program which will focus on basic skills and academic enrichment, cultural awareness, and positive community involvement. Spelling Bee
Between March and April each year the BEA hosts several spelling bees around the province culminating in a Provincial Spelling Bee in May.
Participants must be between 8 and 15 years of age.

BEA / Dalhousie Math Camp
For Grade 7/8 Students Dalhousie University and the Black Educators Association have teamed up to develop an exciting program. A five day math/science camp will be help during the month of July at Dalhousie University.
Participants: Thirty (30) girls and boys, ages 13 to 15, who show promise in Math will be invited to attend this camp. Participants will live on campus during the week, and will be provided with meals.
